On November 14, FrOGS will be celebrating 25 years of stewarding the Great Swamp through research, education and conservation. You are invited to join us.
The festivities commence with a cocktail hour in a beautifully paneled fireplace room with passed hors d'oevres and live harp music. A seated dinner with a champagne toast will follow in the Great Room.
Several members of the Board of Directors have designed, pieced and hand-sewn a FrOGS 25th Anniversary quilt for the occasion and bidding will begin for it soon online and will close before the Anniversary dinner. Check FaceBook for bidding details and a photo of this one-of-a-kind quilt depicting the living swamp we love.
The entrance hall will feature displays including the quilt, historic highlights of some of the momentous research, education and conservation projects we have undertaken over the years, and exquisite professional photographs of the Great Swamp.
The grand evening will culminate with an engaging guest speaker, presentations, and the much-anticipated announcement of the winning bid for the 25th Anniversary quilt.
Tickets will go on sale in October at $65-members/$75-non-members. Details to follow.
